Style

Well, note the slight curve at the waist of the jacket, designed to make you look slimmer. The arm holes are cut high and the sleeves are narrowed to give a more fitted appearance. The raised buttoning position and slightly widened lapels are to draw attention to the chest, creating a more masculine profile. These are some of the classic design features of a Savile Row suit or what is sometimes called the “London Cut”. Roomten adhere to these traditions however we also like to put our own design features in to our suits which sets a roomten suit apart from anyone else’s!

Fabric

We can make a well fitting suit from a low quality fabric however this is a little like trying to make a “silk purse from a sows ear”! So at roomten we only use fabric from the best British and Italian merchants. Holland and Sherry, Scabal, Dormueil, Harrisons are some of the best of British add to this Loro Piana and Ermenegildo Zegna and we have a range of over 6000 of the best fabrics available!

Plus here at roomten we also design some of our own fabrics, which are woven in the UK and are only available from roomten!

Fit

We’ve already mentioned how a roomten Savile Row style suit should look, however it is vital to make sure the suit is made to fit the customer’s body, style and personality and this is all taken into consideration when talking to the customer and ultimately making the suit. The relationship and understanding between the customer and their tailor is vital, its important the tailor interprets all the customer’s requirements and the customers role in this is important too.

If you don’t trust your tailor its probably time to find another one.
